It tastes reasonable and is easier to swallow than other gels. It is also a friendlier option for the stomach. However, by comparing it to other more expensive and tech gels, it is a bit less effective, I would say. In a long run, would need to get at least 3 of them per hour, compared to 1 or 2 from competitors. The more effective ones, however, are often though on the belly and can get you racing to the bathroom.

I bought these on recommendation when training for and running

I bought these on recommendation when training for and running a 10k. I took one 30 minutes beforehand and then every 30 minutes of the race. Easy to carry and open during a run, although a bit sticky if spilled. The consistency does get thinner if your body heat warms them up. They taste reasonably fine, but they are sweet and do catch you in the throat a bit. Also beware not drinking enough water with these as your stomach will betray you. Make sure to chug some water after the run if you don't like drinking during.
