EU Shipping & VAT Information

MySupplementShop Ltd - EU Shipping Information

Since the UK left the EU Single Market and Customs Union on 1 January 2021, the UK EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) is now in effect. As a result, shipments to the European Union require customs clearance.

Before ordering, ensure that your item is allowed for import into your country. Check the latest restricted items list provided by our courier DPD here: https://www.dpd.co.uk/content/about_dpd/brexit-prohibited-items.jsp

Starting 1 July, the European Union implemented comprehensive VAT reforms and changes affecting distance sales of goods and B2C services. These changes include:

  • The €22 VAT exemption on imports to the EU is no longer applicable. All goods, regardless of value, are now subject to VAT
  • The introduction of the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) for simplifying VAT declarations and payments for distance sales of imported goods valued at €150 or less

What is the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS)?

IOSS is an online portal that businesses can use from 1 July 2021 to comply with VAT e-commerce obligations for distance sales of imported goods. MySupplementShop Ltd is registered with IOSS, which means VAT will not be charged when parcels arrive at EU customs facilities. This accelerates the clearance process and ensures a faster delivery to you.

IOSS simplifies the collection, declaration, and payment of VAT for online sales to EU customers. It covers purchases made by buyers within the EU for goods valued at less than €150.
MySupplementShop Ltd will collect the applicable VAT at checkout and submit it to your country through our IOSS registration.
Please note - This does not include any applicable Duty charged upon item clearance.

Any duty charged must be paid by you, the customer, before delivery is made. Please consult your local customs office for clarification on the duty due for your desired items before purchase.
