The fillet of the Alaska pollock goes to the supermarket, and fish oil is made from the fillet trimmings. No additional fish is caught for this efficient method. With this, Arctic Blue has earned the strictest quality mark for fish oil: the blue MSC quality mark. In a modern facility in the US, the oil is purified and concentrated and care is taken to ensure that the fish oil retains its freshness (= low Totox value). Freshness is a measure of the condition of the sensitive Omega-3 fatty acids. Fresh fish oil will never burp or leave an aftertaste. Arctic Blue fish oil capsules are therefore also suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
